1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vidpops platform (“Service”), operated by NOCODELIFE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Vidpops.
2. The Service
Vidpops helps hospitality businesses collect, brand, and manage authentic video testimonials from their guests. The Service includes:
- A guest recording interface accessible via shareable links and QR codes
- Automatic video branding and processing
- A dashboard for managing videos, rooms, and templates
- AI-powered features such as transcription and marketing copy generation
3. Accounts
To use Vidpops, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each account is linked to an organisation. You may invite team members to your organisation, and you are responsible for their activity within the Service.
4. Guest recordings and consent
When a guest records a video through Vidpops, they are presented with a consent notice before recording begins. As the account holder, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring guests are aware their video will be recorded and may be used for marketing
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction
- Honouring any guest requests to delete their recordings
We provide tools to help you manage consent, but the legal responsibility for obtaining valid consent lies with you.
5. Content ownership
Your content: You retain ownership of all videos, images, logos, and other content you upload to or create through Vidpops. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and deliver your content solely to provide the Service.
Guest content: Video recordings made by guests belong to the guest and your organisation as agreed through the consent process. We do not claim ownership of guest recordings.
Our content: The Vidpops platform, branding, design, and code remain our intellectual property.
6. Pricing and payment
Vidpops offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and may change with 30 days' notice.
- Free tier: Limited to 20 videos
- Pro plan: Unlimited videos at the current advertised price
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep Vidpops available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.
Support is available via email. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly but do not guarantee specific response times.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidpops and NOCODELIFE LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.
Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Video recordings will be deleted within 90 days of account closure.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
